BREAKING NEWS! PROUD’S TAXES “GIVE” TO THE SHIRT

Sometimes I read in awe what Lucian Mîndruță writes and I wonder not where he gets it from, but WHERE he gets it, this wisdom worthy of an anthology of “things well done”, to quote from living classics, living in the province. I even cried reading Mîndruță’s text… and only now did I understand the enormous sensitivity of the great man:

“Lately, there have been comments from those who – convinced of the sovereignist and auristic communication – ask me what I do for the victims of Bucovina and why I don’t go there to work side by side with their heroes. I’m going to tell them what I do, and not only me but also millions of people from the private sector: we pay taxes. The taxes from which the aid is given not only in Broșteni, but also everywhere where it is needed. And no we only pay taxes for two or three days, during which we film ourselves and tell on tiktok how much we gave and how much we worked for it. No. We’ve been paying taxes for 20 years – at least that’s my case. VAT, profit tax, CAS, CASS, dividends. And it’s not optional. And there is no month in which we can say “I’m tired, this month I don’t transfer the VAT”…” (Lucian Mîndruță, on his page by FACEBOOK, August 12, 2025)

I am convinced that no one knew about this secret and continuous generosity of Mîndruță. And he, because he pays taxes, stays calm… that the state, as we have seen, rolled up its sleeves, looked for Mîndruță in taxes like a hen looks for eggs, waited for the product from the nest and, as it dug into the straw, set about transforming it into foundations and walls for the houses of those struck by misfortune in Broșteni… or not? Let’s face it… I can’t say that the “state” wasn’t there. Well it was… because hundreds of firefighters and gendarmes were in the middle of the disaster, working heroically to restore normality. And they are the STATE, not only the president Ghiozdănel Nicușor Dan or the barber Bolo who cuts and shaves everything! But to them were added the volunteers who didn’t even come to play in the puddle.

Obviously, in the minds of those who shrug their shoulders, indifferent, when such trouble happens, those hit by the flood are the only ones to blame… that why did they build their houses there… that, if they did, why didn’t they insure them… etc. But, you see, these are words… and words, just like Mîndruță’s taxes, do not pour concrete or build walls… No one lives in words and no one can sleep. Therefore, in such a misfortune, any help is welcome. And it’s miserable to mock those who – and, believe me, I don’t even care about their motivation, political or simply human – actually lend a helping hand. That’s the only thing that really matters!

Not to mention that the appellation “dear”, in the hypocritical mouth of Mîndruță, is simply obscene!
