Now, at a time when Canada is under economic attack, they are bailing on us. They owe us big-time for providing a stable, safe place to do business. Staying in Canada should be their only option.

As for Diageo, its shareholders might not be aware that its Amherstburg plant is within a short distance to tens of millions of U.S. customers. They may also not be aware of what happened to Heinzs bottom line after that company left Leamington and the tarnish that was put on its products.

Are they willing to gamble their money and tarnish all their brands by leaving a safe, stable country? Canada and England are under economic attack and should strengthen their trade ties.

Thanks for Halloween food bank donations

Every Halloween we put up a big display at our house. The last three weekends of October, we turn everything on at night for people to come check it out, and we ask our neighbours who came to see the decorations to leave a donation for the Windsor/Essex County Food Bank Association.
