Adorable new additions have arrived at a Welsh wildlife park

A wildlife park in Wales has been keeping an amazing secret, four new tiger cubs have been born. Their arrival at Manor House Wildlife Park in Pembrokeshire was kept secret while they got used to one another. Mum Terima, who is 11, delivered four cubs on June 17, making Zaza a big sister in the process. Last year, Zaza was the first tiger cub to be born and was described as a "symbol of hope and a critical addition to the global effort to conserve this critically endangered species". Read more.

Bus passenger 'couldn't escape' as woman filmed her and called her a 'nonce'

As a woman sat innocently on the bus another woman filmed her, calling her a "paedophile" and a "nonce". The victim was unable to "escape" the harassment, a court heard. Stacey Caddick, 33, wrongly thought the victim had been photographing children but Caddick admitted that she had dealt with the situation in a "clumsy way". Caddick, of Hirnant, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor, admitted harassment at Caernarfon Magistrates Court and on Wednesday, July 31 she was given a 16-week jail term but it was suspended for 12 months as she is responsible for the care of her father who has dementia. Police launch search for man last seen nearly two months ago

Police officers are trying to locate a man who was last seen nearly two months ago. Roland Baddeley, from Llandogo, Monmouthshire, was last seen during the first week of June, but was reported as missing to Gwent Police on Wednesday, July 30. The 60-year-old is of large build, around five foot eight tall, with short grey hair and blue eyes.

Road closed in both directions

The A468 in Caerphilly is closed in both directions closed due to incident from B4263 St Cenydd Road (Trecenydd roundabout) to A469 (Cedar Tree roundabout).

Police want to speak to this woman

Police are trying to locate a woman who they say drove away from them. Officers stopped a car on Attlee Way, Tredegar at around 1pm on Monday, July 28 after seeing a suspected disqualified driver. However the driver, Julie Wilson, drove away from arresting officers, Gwent Police said. Officers are now appealing for information on the 38-year-old's whereabouts. Read more.

Crash on M48 Severn Bridge

There is slow traffic on the M48 Severn Bridge following a "multi-vehicle" crash ahead of rush hour. The incident happened at around 3pm and is affecting the route westbound. The road is shut westbound between junction one A403 (Aust) and junction two A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow). Traffic is being diverted via the M4 Prince of Wales bridge. There are reports of slow traffic due to a crash on the A525 Kingsmills Road in Wrexham, eastbound near Whitegate Road.

The Met Office has forecast the weather for Wales this evening. It writes on its website: "Few remaining showers continue to ease. Elsewhere, patchy cloud with largely dry and clear conditions. Plenty of sunny spells into the evening. Fresh northwesterly winds near coasts. Minimum temperature 13 °C."

Heavy traffic on M4

Traffic monitoring service Inrix is reporting heavy traffic on the M4 into the Brynglas Tunnel eastbound before junction 26 A4051 (Malpas Road). Travel time is five minutes.

Major search for missing 22-year-old

Police have released a photo of a 22-year-old woman who has gone missing, as a major search of the Menai Strait is carried out to find her. Gwenno Ephraim was last seen in the upper Bangor area on Monday, July 28, and is believed to have walked towards Menai Bridge. Click here to read the full story.

Tribute to dad who died after being found unconscious on the street

Police have named the man who died days after being found unconscious outside a Swansea pub. The 63-year-old was found outside the The Mill pub on the city's Brynymor Road on Friday, July 25. He was taken to hospital but sadly died two days later on Sunday, July 27. Click here to read more.

Police appeal after attack at Welsh hospital

A man has been arrested after an assault at a Welsh hospital. Police say an incident took place at Singleton Hospital in Swansea on Monday, July 28 at 5.20pm. A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody. Click here to read more.

Traffic is heavier than normal on A469 southbound at Rue de Ploubezre (Llanbradach Roundabout) in Caerphilly.

There's slow traffic on three areas of the M4. They are:

  • In Llandarcy, on the A465 westbound at M4 junction 43. Travel time is ten minutes.
  • In Bassaleg, at the A467 Forge Road southbound before M4 junction 28 (Tredegar Park).
  • In Llangennech, on the A4138 Pontardulais Road eastbound at M4 junction 48.
