The sports activities aremostly skating, and skeeing, whichis very amusing. I visited an oldSwedishcastle(Orbyhus), and I sawthe jail of King Erik XIV. Itwas constructed of thick stone partitions, andover the previous stone hearth he hadwritten some verses. There werethree rooms which he had for him-self. His brother ordered the prison-keeper to provide him poison in a dishof pea-soup, and he died in theprison. Your loving reader,Gladys Virginia Steuart (age 12).
